Adapt Desktop Color Settings

Utilise this page to use diverse sliders to set the contrast, sharpness, and color depth (Digital Vibrance) of the images on your desktop. Others controls are bachelor depending on the type of display connection.

Color Accuracy Mode

Displays the electric current color accuracy style - reference, authentic, or enhanced. The color accuracy mode depends on the color space pipeline used for processing each rendered pixel.

  • Reference: Rendered pixels are processed through the GPU pipeline in one:1 pixel color-matching mode. This pipeline is used if there are no pixel color enhancements from the OS or from colour aligning applications such as the NVIDIA Control Console.

  • Accurate: Rendered pixels are candy using 1 of the following:

  • Color space conversion (CSC) or custom gamma ramp via NvAPI

  • Windows Display Color Transform ( DCT) with Microsoft Hardware Calibration (MHC) ICC profile applied

  • Enhanced:  Rendered pixels are processed using one of the following:

  • Color adjustments through the NVIDIA Control Console (encounter the Employ Color Adjustments section)

  • DCT is on but no MHC ICC colour profile is associated with it

Override to reference way: Select this check box to override the current color processing and force the reference mode. When selected, colour adjustments from the Os or other adjustment applications are ignored and rendered pixels are processed through the GPU pipeline in 1:1 pixel matching mode.

Employ Color Enhancements

NOTE: If the Override to reference way check box is selected, these controls are fix to default values only are greyed out and cannot be inverse.

Colour Aqueduct

You can adapt the Crimson, Light-green, and Bluish channels by selecting each color separately or by selecting the composite choice All channels, which is the default setting.

  • When yous select a color aqueduct, the color appears in the graph of the color correction curve.

  • Moving the Brightness/Contrast/Gamma sliders changes the advent of the colored line/curves in the graph in real time.

Brightness: Use this slider to adjust the brightness of your desktop. The Effulgence value tin can affect the Gamma range.

Gamma: Gamma refers to the brightness of mid-tones on your desktop without affecting shadows and highlights. Use the Gamma slider to adjust the Gamma on your desktop. The available gamma range depends on the Effulgence and Contrast values.

Contrast: Dissimilarity refers to the difference between the lightest and darkest parts of the desktop. Employ the slider to adjust this departure. The Dissimilarity value can affect the Gamma range.

Digital Vibrance: To compensate for poor lighting weather condition when viewing your desktop, apply the Digital Vibrance slider to increase the crispness/richness/intensity of the desktop colors.

Hue: Hue refers to the base color and is given as a value from 0 to 359 degrees - where, for instance, 0 is red, 60 is yellow, 120 is greenish, 180 is cyan, and 300 is magenta.

Flicker filter: The flicker filter applies to TVs. Use the Flicker filter slider to accommodate the level of the flicker filter you lot want applied to your television picture. Increasing the flicker filter reduces screen flicker.

Show gray border: This check box appears when a TV is connected. When checked, blackness borders on the unused portion of your Idiot box display are replaced with greyness borders to reduce the chance of screen burn-in.

Content type (ITC) reported to the display:  This setting applies to HDMI monitors (not treated as DVI) and GPUs that support AVI infoframes on Windows Vista and later.  This setting determines the blazon of video content the driver reports to the display. The display volition then apply the appropriate video processing to achieve the best display quality.
